OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Full-time OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) position focused on providing obstetrical and gynecological care within a hospital setting.
- Key member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to maternal health and patient safety.
- Participate in hospital rounds, deliver direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients, including contraceptive services where applicable.
- Deliver direct care to high-risk obstetric patients, sometimes with remote Maternal Fetal Medicine support.
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Act as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring all patients have the safest possible outcomes regardless of their primary admitting clinician.
- Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and practice coverage as requested and as safely available.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Active medical license to practice medicine in the state of assignment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with all stakeholders, including hospital leadership, nursing teams, staff physicians, and corporate partners.
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred.
