OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Provide hospital-based obstetrical and gynecological care to a wide range of patients.
- Deliver direct patient care, including contraceptive services and management of high-risk pregnancies.
- Act as a core member of the clinical team, ensuring patient safety and supporting best practices in maternal healthcare.
- Engage in daily labor and delivery rounds and serve as the Safety Officer on the labor and delivery unit.
- Support community physicians and midwives, offering clinical assistance and coverage as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available.
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine support as needed through telephone or video consultations.
- Participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds, contributing to collaborative decision-making and patient safety initiatives.
- Serve as the Safety Officer on labor and delivery, ensuring the best possible outcomes for all patients regardless of their primary admitting clinician.
- Offer clinical support and coverage to community physicians and midwives, helping to maintain optimal care standards throughout the hospital.
- Adapt to various shift models, including 24-hour and 12-hour shifts, according to hospital scheduling needs.

- Board Certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn).

- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred.
