We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join our dynamic clinical team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN who is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a hospital setting. As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist), you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, supporting both patients and the broader healthcare team.

The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) will contribute to a high-quality OB Hospitalist program focused on safe outcomes, clinical excellence, and effective interdisciplinary communication.
As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist), you will be responsible for managing a range of obstetrical and gynecological cases, including high-risk pregnancies and emergent situations. You will utilize your expertise to ensure the highest standards of care are met, whether working independently or in consultation with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists. Additionally, you will serve as a safety advocate on Labor and Delivery, championing best practices and fostering a culture of safety across all patient interactions.
The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) role includes a combination of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts, providing flexibility and variety in your schedule. Full-time clinicians typically commit to 59 (24-hour) shifts over a 28-day block, ensuring continuity of care and strong team integration. You will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with profit sharing, malpractice coverage with unlimited tail, and generous CME support.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services (where available)
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk obstetrical patients, utilizing telemedicine consults for Maternal Fetal Medicine support as needed
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds
- Act as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring optimal safety outcomes for all patients
- Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff, hospitalist teams, and other healthcare professionals to maintain excellent standards of care

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician
- Valid medical license to practice in the assigned state
- Demonstrated relational skills for building positive working relationships with all stakeholders
- Significant experience in managing obstetrical emergencies preferred
- Commitment to excellence in patient safety and quality outcomes
