OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care as part of a hospital-based clinical team.
- Contribute to a high-quality OB Hospitalist program focused on patient safety and positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with community physicians, midwives, and hospital staff to support patient care needs.
- Utilize expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetrical emergencies.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to obstetrical and gynecological patients, including contraceptive services where available.
- Manage high-risk obstetric cases, providing care even when Maternal Fetal Medicine support is remote.
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to ensure coordinated patient management.
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, maintaining focus on patient safety for all admissions.
- Support community clinicians through clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed and safely available.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and compliance with all hospital and organizational policies.

- Eligibility for benefits with a shift commitment of five shifts per 28-day block.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician.
- Active medical license in the state of assignment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships with all stakeholders, including hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nursing staff, community physicians, and administrative teams.
- Significant experience managing obstetric emergencies is preferred.
