OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Join a dynamic team of OB/GYN professionals delivering evidence-based obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital environment.
- Serve as a clinical leader and safety officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring optimal outcomes for all patients.
- Engage with community physicians and midwives, providing clinical support and assistance as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetrical and gynecological care to a diverse patient population, including contraceptive services where available.
- Deliver direct care to high-risk patients, utilizing telemedicine support from Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists when needed.
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds, collaborating with the clinical team to coordinate patient care.
- Act as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, advocating for safe and effective patient outcomes irrespective of the primary admitting clinician.
- Support and collaborate with community physicians and midwives, providing clinical assistance and practice coverage as appropriate and feasible.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Active Candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of assignment.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build positive working relationships with hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nursing staff, physicians, and administrative personnel.
- Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care preferred.
- Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
