This position requires expertise in obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available, and the ability to support community physicians and midwives as needed. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Deliver high-quality obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital setting
- Provide direct clinical care to high-risk and routine obstetric patients
- Serve as a key member of a collaborative Labor and Delivery team
- Champion patient safety and best practices in obstetric care
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
- Provide direct patient care for high-risk pregnancies, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine support as needed
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Act as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring optimal outcomes for all patients regardless of primary admitting clinician
- Support community physicians and midwives by providing clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed and safely available
- Maintain close collaboration with nursing staff, hospitalist teams, hospital leadership, and other physicians

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong, positive professional relationships with all stakeholders
- Preferred: Significant experience in managing obstetrical emergency care
