You will work closely with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, often collaborating through telemedicine and video consultations, to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Your role will also involve participating in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds, acting as a Safety Officer to promote optimal safety standards, and supporting community physicians and midwives with clinical assistance as needed. This position is ideal for clinicians who are highly relational, possess strong communication skills, and are committed to fostering positive working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
The schedule for this OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) position typically involves 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models available. Full-time clinicians generally work 59 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block, providing a unique opportunity for work-life balance and consistent patient engagement.
