OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Provide acute and routine obstetrical and gynecological care to patients in a hospital setting.
- Serve as a key member of the clinical team, ensuring high standards of safety and quality in Labor and Delivery.
- Support and collaborate with community physicians and midwives to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain clinical excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available.
- Manage direct patient care for high-risk pregnancies, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine support as needed, including remote consultation.
- Engage in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds with the multidisciplinary team.
- Act as the Safety Officer in Labor and Delivery, monitoring safety protocols and ensuring all patients receive optimal outcomes.
- Provide clinical assistance and practice coverage for community physicians and midwives when requested and as safely possible.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board-eligible (active candidate) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the relevant state of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with hospital teams, leadership, and staff.
- Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care is preferred.
