The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Full-time hospital-based physician position on a dedicated OB Hospitalist team

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients, including contraceptive services where offered
- Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetrical patients, including those requiring remote Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation
- Participate in daily board rounds on Labor and Delivery to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring all patients receive the safest possible care
- Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and practice coverage as requested
- Work predominantly 24-hour shifts, with occasional 12-hour or mixed-shift schedules
- Maintain clinical excellence through participation in continuing medical education and certification activities

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Active Candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Licensed to practice medicine in the applicable state
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive working relationships with hospital leadership, fellow clinicians, nursing staff, and support teams
- Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and collaborative care environment
