OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Serve as a core member of the OB Hospitalist clinical team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a hospital setting.
- Provide both obstetrical and gynecological services, including the management of high-risk pregnancies and emergency situations.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient safety and supports community healthcare providers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services at applicable hospitals.
- Manage high-risk obstetric patients, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine support through telemedicine as needed.
- Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds, ensuring coordinated and effective patient care.
- Act as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring optimal patient safety for all patients regardless of their primary admitting clinician.
- Support community physicians and midwives by providing clinical assistance and practice coverage as requested and as safely available.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Current license to practice medicine as an OB Hospitalist Physician at the assigned site.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and corporate staff.
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred but not required.
