In this OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to both low- and high-risk obstetric patients, including those who may require specialized consultation and acute emergency management. You will participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds, serve as a Safety Officer to oversee patient safety initiatives, and support fellow clinicians through clinical assistance and coverage as needed. Your expertise will help foster a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement in obstetric care.

This position features a flexible shift model, with the majority of shifts being 24 hours in length. Some 12-hour or mixed-shift models are also available, providing a variety of scheduling options to suit your professional needs. Full-time clinicians typically work 5-9 (24-hour) shifts within a 28-day block, ensuring a manageable work-life balance while maintaining a strong commitment to patient care.

The ideal candidate for this OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) position will be Board Certified or an active Board Candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology, possess a valid medical license in the state of assignment, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Prior experience in obstetrical emergency care is highly desirable, as is the ability to build strong, positive relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, nurses, and support staff.
