We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join our hospital-based clinical team. This full-time position is structured around 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models, offering a dynamic and rewarding work schedule. Clinicians are typically expected to complete 5 shifts per 28-day block to maintain eligibility for comprehensive benefits coverage.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital setting.
- Participate as an integral member of the OB Hospitalist clinical team.
- Prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes for all labor and delivery patients.
- Work in a fast-paced, supportive hospital environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where applicable.
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk obstetric patients, sometimes in collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine via remote consultation.
- Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds to coordinate patient care and ensure communication among the care team.
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, overseeing patient safety standards and protocols for all patients, regardless of the primary admitting clinician.
- Support community physicians and midwives, offering clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed and as safely available.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing education and training to remain current with advancements in obstetric and gynecologic care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician.
- Current medical license to practice medicine in the state of assignment.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain positive professional relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, nursing staff, community physicians, and administrative personnel.
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and evidence-based medical practice.
