OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary- Provide expert obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital setting
- Serve as a key member of the OB hospitalist clinical team
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk and emergent cases
- Support community physicians and midwives as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary safety initiatives
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
- Provide direct care to high-risk obstetric patients, including those requiring Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation via telephone or video
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to discuss patient care plans and safety protocols
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, ensuring optimal outcomes for all patients
- Offer clinical support and practice coverage to community physicians and midwives as requested
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving and continuous quality improvement efforts

- Board certified or active candidate in OB/GYN
- Active state medical license for the assigned hospital site
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build positive relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, and patients
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date professional certifications
- Demonstrates clinical excellence and a patient-centered approach
- Thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments

- Flexible with shift work, including 24-hour and 12-hour models
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development
- Most shifts are 24 hours, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift opportunities
- Full-time physicians typically work 5-9 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block
