As an OB Hospitalist Physician, you will provide direct care to patients, including those with complex or high-risk pregnancies. Your responsibilities will include participating in daily labor and delivery rounds, acting as Safety Officer to promote best practices, and serving as a clinical resource for community physicians and midwives. You will also be able to deliver contraceptive services at applicable hospital sites. OB Hospitalist Physicians in this role typically work a schedule that includes a majority of 24-hour shifts, with some opportunities for 12-hour or mixed-shift models. Full-time clinicians generally commit to 59 (24-hour) shifts in a 28-day block, promoting continuity of care and strong team integration. This structure is designed to facilitate work-life balance while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a hospital-based setting
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as a clinical leader and resource for both patients and healthcare professionals
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services at applicable hospitals
- Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetrical patients, including through remote Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation
- Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds
- Serve as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to promote patient safety and best outcomes
- Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed
