As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist), you will have the opportunity to provide advanced, patient-centered care in a hospital-based setting. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Deliver acute and comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital-based setting
- Work as part of a collaborative OB Hospitalist team
- Focus on patient safety, high-quality outcomes, and multidisciplinary communication
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients, including those requiring Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation via telemedicine platforms
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to coordinate care and ensure safety
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, advocating for optimal outcomes for all patients
- Support community physicians and midwives by providing clinical assistance and coverage as requested
- Work a combination of 24-hour, 12-hour, or mixed-shift models to provide consistent patient coverage
- Full-time clinicians typically work 59 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block, ensuring continuity of care

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Possess an active medical license in the state of assignment
- Highly relational with the ability to build strong rapport with hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and corporate staff
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
