This position features a variety of shift options, including 24-hour and 12-hour models, accommodating the needs of both patients and clinicians. Full-time OB Hospitalist Physicians typically work 5-9 shifts per 28-day block, ensuring continuity of care and optimal work-life balance. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary- Deliver high-quality obstetrical and gynecological care as part of a collaborative hospitalist program
- Serve as a critical member of the clinical team, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes on Labor and Delivery
- Full-time employment with structured shift options and comprehensive benefits
- Provide obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services at hospitals where offered
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation as necessary
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to ensure continuity of care
- Act as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, overseeing patient safety protocols
- Support community physicians and midwives by offering clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed
