In this full-time role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including other hospitalists, nursing staff, community physicians, and midwives, to provide continuous coverage and respond to emergent situations. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary- Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care as part of a dedicated hospitalist team
- Emphasize safety, quality outcomes, and collaborative care in a hospital-based setting
- Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and practice coverage
- Work a combination of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts for optimal work-life balance
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
- Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetric patients, even when Maternal Fetal Medicine support is remote
- Participate actively in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Offer clinical assistance and coverage to community physicians and midwives as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain patient safety and care quality

- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of the assigned facility
- Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and positive relationships with hospital leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and staff
- Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care preferred
- Highly relational and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Thrives in a hospital-based, fast-paced clinical environment
- Passionate about patient safety, quality improvement, and maternal-fetal health
- Willing to participate in flexible shift models, including 24-hour and mixed shifts
- Proactive in supporting and mentoring others within the clinical team
