As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist), you will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, including direct patient care for high-risk cases and clinical support for community physicians and midwives. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing labor and delivery units, participating in daily rounds, and maintaining a culture of safety and excellence. OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary- Full-time hospital-based OB/GYN role focused on inpatient obstetric and gynecological care
- Central member of a multidisciplinary clinical team dedicated to patient safety and quality outcomes
- Opportunity for professional growth and ongoing education through supported CME and certification programs
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where applicable
- Provide direct patient care to both routine and high-risk obstetric patients, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine support as available
- Participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds to ensure comprehensive patient oversight
- Serve as Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to promote optimal outcomes for all patients, regardless of admitting clinician
- Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and practice coverage as needed, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care

- Board Certified or Active Candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn)
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where assigned
- Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, and support staff
- Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
- Highly relational physician with strong communication and team-building skills
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, hospital-based environment
- Proven track record in managing high-acuity and emergency obstetric cases

- Schedule includes primarily 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed shift models depending on hospital needs
