OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join our clinical care team, providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a dynamic hospital-based setting. The OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) position is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physicians who are passionate about inpatient medicine and eager to be part of a supportive and experienced hospitalist program. You will participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds, act as a Safety Officer to reinforce best practices, and collaborate closely with hospital leadership, nurses, community physicians, and midwives to achieve the safest possible outcomes for all patients. This role is particularly well-suited to clinicians who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and are committed to advancing the standard of care for women and newborns.
As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist), you will deliver direct patient care, especially to high-risk patients, including those whose access to Maternal Fetal Medicine is through telemedicine consultation. You will also provide clinical assistance to community practitioners as needed, lend your expertise during labor and delivery emergencies, and ensure that patients receive timely, evidence-based care regardless of their primary admitting provider. Your commitment to continuous improvement and patient advocacy will help drive a culture of safety and excellence across the women’s health service line.
Our team offers a flexible shift model, primarily featuring 24-hour shifts along with some 12-hour or mixed-shift options to accommodate work-life balance and optimize patient coverage. Full-time clinicians typically work 5-9 shifts per 28-day block, providing continuity of care and fostering strong professional relationships within the hospital environment. - Board certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of the assigned site

- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
