OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary- Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynecological care as part of a collaborative hospitalist team
- Serve as a key resource for patients, families, and colleagues in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Champion patient safety and positive outcomes in all aspects of care
- Support and collaborate with community physicians and midwives
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine support via telehealth as needed
- Participate actively in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to coordinate patient care
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to ensure the highest standards of patient safety
- Assist and support community physicians and midwives through clinical coverage and consultation as requested
- Collaborate with hospital leadership, clinical staff, and the OBHG corporate team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Adhere to all clinical and regulatory standards, maintaining compliance and best practices in OB/GYN hospitalist medicine

- Current Board Certification or active candidacy as an OB/GYN Physician
- Valid medical license in the state of practice location
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with hospital staff and leadership
- Experience with obstetrical emergency care highly preferred

- Proven experience as an OB/GYN Physician in a hospitalist or inpatient setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
