As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN), you will work a combination of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. Your responsibilities will include direct patient care, oversight of safety protocols, and active participation in daily rounds. This role also involves providing support to community obstetricians and midwives, contributing to a collaborative and collegial atmosphere.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) - Summary- Hospital-based position providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
- Key member of a collaborative clinical team focused on quality and safety
- Opportunities to support and assist community physicians and midwives
- Deliver inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services as applicable
- Provide care to high-risk obstetric patients, often with remote Maternal Fetal Medicine support
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds, ensuring up-to-date care coordination
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, advocating for best safety practices and outcomes for all patients
- Offer clinical support to community physicians and midwives, including coverage as needed
- Engage in shift-based hospitalist work, typically 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models

- Board Certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Medical license in the state of assignment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, and staff
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Demonstrates a patient-centered approach to care and safety
