As an OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN), you will work a combination of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. This role also involves providing support to community obstetricians and midwives, contributing to a collaborative and collegial atmosphere.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services as applicable
- Provide care to high-risk obstetric patients, often with remote Maternal Fetal Medicine support
- Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds, ensuring up-to-date care coordination
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, advocating for best safety practices and outcomes for all patients
- Offer clinical support to community physicians and midwives, including coverage as needed
- Engage in shift-based hospitalist work, typically 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Medical license in the state of assignment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, and staff
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
