As part of your responsibilities, you will participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds, serve as the Safety Officer on the labor and delivery unit, and provide direct patient care to both routine and high-risk patients. You will also have the chance to support community providers and midwives, ensuring seamless care coverage and continuity for all patients. The position is structured around 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models to support a balanced work-life schedule.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) - Summary- Full-time hospital-based obstetrician/gynecologist position
- Deliver acute and routine OB/GYN care to diverse patient populations
- Serve as a clinical leader and safety advocate in the labor and delivery unit
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Opportunities for mentoring and supporting community physicians and midwives
- Deliver obstetric and gynecologic care, including contraceptive services at eligible hospitals
- Provide direct patient care for high-risk pregnancies, often in collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists via teleconsultation
- Participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds to ensure coordinated care
- Act as Safety Officer to advocate for optimal outcomes for all labor and delivery patients
- Support and assist community physicians and midwives with clinical coverage and expertise as needed
- Commit to scheduled 24-hour shifts, with some 12-hour or mixed-shift models available
- Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and high standards of care across the labor and delivery unit
