We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) to join our collaborative clinical team. As an OB Hospitalist Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to diverse patient populations. This position focuses on delivering comprehensive care in a hospital setting, ensuring the best possible outcomes for mothers and newborns, and supporting the broader healthcare team. Our OB Hospitalist program is designed to offer continuous, in-hospital physician coverage, supporting both high-risk and routine obstetric cases while contributing to patient safety and clinical excellence.

OB Hospitalist Physician (OB/GYN) - Summary
- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to inpatients, including high-risk and routine cases
- Act as a key member of the labor and delivery team, providing hands-on patient care and oversight
- Support and assist community physicians and midwives as needed
- Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to advance patient outcomes and safety
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including contraceptive services in applicable settings
- Deliver care to high-risk obstetric patients, utilizing Maternal Fetal Medicine support as available via telemedicine or consultation
- Participate in daily labor and delivery board rounds, contributing to collaborative patient management and communication
- Serve as the Safety Officer on the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards for all patients
- Support community clinicians through clinical assistance and practice coverage as requested and as safely available

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN Physician or active candidate for certification
- Current medical license or eligibility to practice medicine in the state of assignment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with hospital teams, leadership, and support staff
- Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care is preferred
