We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OB Hospitalist (OB/GYN Hospitalist) to join our clinical team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality obstetrical and gynecological care, focusing on patient safety and positive outcomes for all women entrusted to our care. As an OB Hospitalist (OB/GYN Hospitalist), you will be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care for patients in a hospital setting.
The OB Hospitalist (OB/GYN Hospitalist) plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and timely obstetrical and gynecological services. This position is designed for a board-certified or actively board-eligible physician who demonstrates a commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and effective teamwork. The role requires flexibility, clinical acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, where you will handle both routine and high-risk cases, often collaborating with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists via telemedicine platforms.
As an integral part of the Labor and Delivery team, the OB Hospitalist (OB/GYN Hospitalist) will participate in daily rounds, act as the Safety Officer to promote best practices, and provide support to community physicians and midwives. By maintaining open communication and fostering strong professional relationships, you will contribute to the overall mission of delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to every patient.

OB Hospitalist (OB/GYN Hospitalist) - Summary
- Full-time hospital-based role specializing in obstetrical and gynecological care

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services where available
- Provide direct patient care management for high-risk obstetrical patients, leveraging telemedicine support when necessary
- Participate actively in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
- Serve as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery, promoting patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes for every patient, regardless of primary admitting clinician
- Support community physicians and midwives by offering clinical consultation, practice coverage, and timely assistance as needed
- Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and adhere to established protocols and guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or active candidacy in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build positive relationships with clinical staff, hospital leadership, and support teams
- Demonstrated expertise and comfort in managing obstetrical emergencies (preferred)
- Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and clinical quality
