OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) - Summary
- Leadership role overseeing OB hospitalist program operations and quality care delivery
- Acts as a liaison between clinical teams, hospital staff, and administration to achieve clinical and operational objectives
- Supports and develops OB hospitalist team members in a value-based care environment
- Reports to senior clinical leadership, contributing to both strategic planning and hands-on program management
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the OB hospitalist program to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing staff, administrative leadership, and OB hospitalist team members
- Collaborate with Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, or Vice President of Clinical Operations to align clinical team performance with organizational goals
- Travel to hospital site as needed to address operational and clinical priorities
- Train and mentor new clinicians, fostering a value-based culture of care
- Communicate clinical policies, procedures, and expectations to team members, ensuring compliance and consistency
- Manage minor physician issues and escalate concerns to appropriate senior leadership as necessary
- Work with hospital leadership to identify opportunities to enhance labor and delivery utilization and program effectiveness
- Fulfill at least five 24-hour (or equivalent) hospitalist shifts every 28-day period

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN Physician
- Current medical license for the assigned site
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and leadership
