We are seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) to join our dynamic clinical leadership team. As an OB Hospitalist Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of a quality-based OB Hospitalist program with a strong focus on value-based patient care. The OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) will oversee program operations, maintain and foster positive relationships with hospital medical and nursing staff, and ensure the OB Hospitalist team delivers patient-centered care. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the hospitalist team and executive leadership, acting as the point of contact for operational priorities, clinical policies, and physician development. Your leadership will be essential in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and upholding the highest standards of obstetrical care.

OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) - Summary
- Lead and manage the operational and clinical aspects of the OB Hospitalist program.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital and clinical team leadership.
- Promote a value-based care culture and ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Mentor and train new clinicians in best practices and clinical policies.
- Foster strong relationships with hospital staff, administrative leaders, and the OB Hospitalist team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee program operations to ensure quality obstetrical care is delivered consistently across the OB Hospitalist team.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with hospital medical and nursing staff, as well as administrative leadership.
- Maintain robust communication and collaboration with the OB Hospitalist physician and CNM team.
- Report to and collaborate with the Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, or Vice President of Clinical Operations as required.
- Travel to the hospital as needed to address operational priorities and ensure program effectiveness.
- Train and mentor new clinicians, fostering a culture aligned with value-based care principles.
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and performance expectations among the clinical team.
- Manage minor physician issues with appropriate escalation to senior leadership when necessary.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and internal stakeholders to identify strategies for increasing labor and delivery utilization and enhancing patient outcomes.
- Commit to at least five 24-hour OB hospitalist shifts per 28-day period, ensuring continuous clinical leadership presence.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN physician (MD or DO).
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of assignment.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with all stakeholders, including hospital leadership, clinical teams, nurses, and support staff.
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred.
- Commitment to upholding clinical excellence and organizational values.
