As an OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director), you will work closely with hospital leadership, nursing staff, and the OB hospitalist team to implement clinical protocols, manage operational priorities, and support the organization's mission to provide exceptional obstetric care. Your leadership will ensure consistent program quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development for new clinicians. OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) - Summary
- Lead and oversee the OB hospitalist program to ensure quality, value-based obstetric care.
- Foster positive relationships with hospital leadership, nursing staff, and clinical teams.
- Support clinical and operational objectives through effective program management and collaboration.
- Provide direct patient care as part of a rotating shift schedule.
- Mentor, develop, and train new clinicians in value-based practices and organizational culture.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct program operations to consistently deliver high-quality obstetric care.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with medical staff, nursing staff, and administrative leadership.
- Maintain strong connections with the OB hospitalist physician and CNM teams.
- Report to Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, or Vice President of Clinical Operations as appropriate.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Visit the hospital as needed to address operational priorities and maintain program excellence.
- Train and develop new clinicians, fostering a value-based program culture.
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations within the team.
- Manage minor physician issues and escalate as needed to higher-level clinical leadership.
- Work with hospital leadership and clinical directors to identify opportunities for increased labor and delivery utilization.
- Commit to a minimum of five 24-hour (or equivalent) OB hospitalist shifts per 28-day period.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board-certified OB/GYN physician.
