As an OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director), you will report to senior clinical leadership, such as the Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, or Vice President of Clinical Operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily program operations, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines, mentoring new clinicians, and collaborating on initiatives to improve labor and delivery utilization. This role also involves managing physician issues, enforcing clinical policies, and ensuring the OB Hospitalist program aligns with both organizational and hospital objectives.

OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) - Summary
- Leadership role overseeing OB Hospitalist program operations and clinical quality
- Reports to senior medical leadership and collaborates with hospital administration
- Serves as a mentor and trainer for new clinicians, fostering a value-based care culture
- Acts as a liaison between hospital staff, clinicians, and administrative leaders
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the OB Hospitalist program to ensure high quality patient care
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing teams, and administrative leadership
- Build strong rapport with the OB Hospitalist physician and CNM team
- Collaborate with Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, and Vice President of Clinical Operations to meet program objectives
- Travel to the hospital as needed to address operational priorities and support the clinical team
- Mentor and train new clinicians in best practices and value-based care principles
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations across the team
- Manage minor physician-related issues and escalate concerns as appropriate
- Partner with hospital leadership to identify strategies for increasing labor and delivery utilization
- Fulfill a minimum of five 24-hour (or equivalent) OB Hospitalist shifts in each 28-day period

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN Physician
- Active medical license in the state of assignment
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with hospital leadership, clinicians, and staff
- Experience in obstetrical emergency care (preferred)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
