The OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) plays a crucial leadership role within the clinical team, focusing on delivering high-quality, value-based obstetric hospitalist care. The OB Hospitalist Director works collaboratively with hospital leadership, nursing staff, and fellow clinicians to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) - Summary
- Leadership role within the OB hospitalist clinical team
- Responsible for program operations and quality care delivery
- Acts as a liaison between clinical teams and hospital leadership

- Provides mentorship and training for new clinicians
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the OB hospitalist program to ensure high-quality care is consistently delivered
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing staff, and administrative leadership
- Maintain communication and collaboration with the OB hospitalist physician and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) teams
- Report directly to Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO), or Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO)
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve clinical and operational objectives for both the organization and hospital partners
- Travel to hospital sites as necessary to address operational priorities and support the team
- Train and develop new clinicians in value-based care culture
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations for the OB hospitalist team
- Manage minor physician issues and escalate concerns as appropriate to upper management
- Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for increased labor and delivery utilization
- Commit to at least five (5) 24-hour (or equivalent) OB hospitalist shifts every 28 days as part of clinical duties

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Active medical license to practice in the state of assignment
- Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with hospital administration, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and corporate staff
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
