The OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) works closely with the Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO), and the Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO) to oversee the clinical team and ensure that program objectives are consistently met. OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Site Director) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage OB hospitalist program operations to ensure delivery of high-quality obstetric care
- Build and maintain effective relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing staff, and administrative leaders
- Foster collaboration and positive working relationships with the physician and CNM OB hospitalist team
- Report directly to Market Medical Director, Medical Director of Operations, or Vice President of Clinical Operations
- Work closely with organizational leaders to ensure clinical and operational goals are met
- Travel to hospital sites as needed for operational priorities and program oversight
- Train and develop new clinicians to embody and uphold the value-based care culture
- Communicate, enforce, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and expectations
- Address minor physician issues and escalate to higher leadership as appropriate
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and organizational leaders to enhance labor and delivery utilization
- Commit to at least five (5) 24-hour (or equivalent) OB hospitalist shifts in each 28-day period

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN Physician (MD or DO)
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of the assigned site
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, and staff
- Significant experience in obstetrical emergency care preferred
