We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Hospitalist Site Director) to join and lead our hospital-based obstetrics team. As an OB Hospitalist Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care in our OB Hospitalist program while fostering a value-based culture aligned with our organization’s mission and the goals of our partner hospital. This leadership role requires a blend of clinical excellence, operational oversight, and team management. You will serve as a vital liaison between the OB Hospitalist clinical team, hospital medical staff, nursing staff, administrative leadership, and corporate stakeholders to achieve outstanding clinical and operational results. This is a full-time opportunity for a board-certified OB/GYN physician who is passionate about advancing maternal health and committed to collaborative leadership.

OB Hospitalist Director (OB/GYN Hospitalist Site Director) - Summary
- Lead and oversee the operations of the OB Hospitalist program, ensuring delivery of quality, patient-centered, value-based care.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hospital leadership, medical staff, and the OB Hospitalist team.
- Foster a collaborative environment that supports clinical excellence, professional growth, and operational efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the OB Hospitalist program to ensure consistent, high-quality care for laboring and postpartum patients.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hospital medical staff, nursing teams, and administrative leaders.
- Coordinate with the Market Medical Director (MMD), Medical Director of Operations (MDO), and Vice President of Clinical Operations (VPCO) to align clinical objectives and operational strategies.
- Mentor, train, and onboard new clinicians to promote the organization’s value-based culture and best practices.
- Communicate and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and expectations for all OB Hospitalist clinicians on the team.
- Manage minor physician or team concerns and escalate issues to MMD, MDO, or VPCO as appropriate.
- Travel to the hospital as needed to address site-specific operational priorities and support the clinical team.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to identify and implement strategies for increasing labor and delivery utilization and improving patient outcomes.
- Participate in regular clinical shifts, including at least five (5) 24-hour (or equivalent) OB Hospitalist shifts every 28-day period.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN Physician (required).
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of the assigned site.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships with hospital leadership, nursing teams, physicians, and corporate staff.
- Experience with obstetrical emergency care strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to fostering a value-based, team-oriented work culture.
