We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician (Obstetrician Gynecologist) to join our dynamic team for a locum tenens opportunity beginning in July. This role provides a unique chance to deliver comprehensive women’s healthcare in a collaborative, high-acuity environment. As a locum tenens provider, you will support a robust hospital system and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients across Labor & Delivery, outpatient clinic, and private practice settings. As an OB/GYN Physician (Obstetrician Gynecologist) in this locum tenens position, you will enjoy flexible shifts, including 12-24 hour Labor & Delivery coverage and 8-hour clinic sessions. There is no on-call requirement, allowing you to focus on direct patient care during your scheduled hours. Your responsibilities will encompass a mix of Labor & Delivery, outpatient women’s health clinic, and private OB/GYN practice duties, with additional opportunities to participate in a range of gynecological surgeries, including open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures. The practice also includes office-based procedures like colposcopies and biopsies, providing a comprehensive clinical experience.

This OB/GYN Physician (Obstetrician Gynecologist) locum tenens role offers access to a well-supported and collaborative team. You will work alongside Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Ultrasound Technicians, and have regular collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists. You will benefit from 24/7 support from Neonatology, Anesthesia, and Resident teams, ensuring that you are always backed by experienced staff and that patient care is continuously prioritized.

Your schedule as an OB/GYN Physician (Obstetrician Gynecologist) will typically include one to two clinic days per week, with a patient volume of approximately 35 patients per clinic day. Labor & Delivery census will vary, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. Gynecological operating room days will be scheduled as needed, allowing you to leverage your surgical skills and contribute to the multidisciplinary care team.

To support your clinical work, this OB/GYN Physician (Obstetrician Gynecologist) position utilizes a combination of electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Labor & Delivery utilizes SCM and GE platforms, while clinic settings may use paper records, and private offices use Athena. Familiarity with these systems or a willingness to learn is important for smooth workflow integration.
