Nurse Practitioner – Urology (NP, APP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories for individuals with urological conditions.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting, including patient education, preventative care, and follow-up evaluations.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide guidance during home call shifts (Monday through Thursday).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on disease management, medication usage, and lifestyle modifications related to urological health.
- Uphold organizational policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of ethical and professional conduct.
- Ensure compliance with all licensure and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Montana or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- Board Certification (BC) as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably with experience in urology or a related specialty.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a patient load of approximately 10 patients per shift.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care.
