As a Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (NP), your focus will be on assessing, diagnosing, and managing a range of acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages. You will utilize advanced clinical skills and evidence-based practices to promote health and wellness, prevent disease, and ensure continuity of care. Our primary care setting uses the eClinicalWorks EMR system, which facilitates seamless communication and coordinated care delivery across the practice. Working in this role provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while also enjoying a balanced work schedule. The position is entirely outpatient, with light, phone-only call duties spread throughout the year.

Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (NP) Summary- Full-time advanced practice provider role in an outpatient primary care setting
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR for coordinated patient care
- Serve a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on community health
- Based in Richmond, VA—a city known for its historical and cultural richness
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Provide preventive care, health education, and wellness counseling
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient encounters and care plans accurately in the EMR (eClinicalWorks)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory standards
- Participate in light, phone-only call coverage as scheduled

- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred but not required
