As a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will join a clinical team focused on patient-centered care. You will play a critical role in performing pain medicine interventions, including administering injections and neuromodulation. Your responsibilities will also encompass conducting thorough follow-up assessments, managing medication regimens, and collaborating with the onsite physician to develop and implement advanced treatment plans. This is a contract assignment with an initial three-month term, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs. The schedule is structured for work-life balance, with three clinic days per week and no on-call requirements. Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, allowing you to focus on direct patient care and comprehensive pain management without after-hours commitments.
Applicants must hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina, as well as valid DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications. A minimum of two years of pain management experience is required, along with board certification in pain management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in pain medicine interventions and a commitment to evidence-based patient care.
