Nurse Practitioner OBGYN (NP, Women's Health NP, WHNP) - Summary
- Provide advanced obstetric and gynecological care for women across the lifespan
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to obstetrics and gynecology
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care in collaboration with physicians
- Manage common gynecological conditions and perform routine screenings such as Pap smears and breast exams
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Provide patient and family education on reproductive health, contraception, and disease prevention
- Refer patients to specialists as needed for further evaluation and management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing process improvements

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with specialization in Women's Health (WHNP) or Family Practice with OBGYN experience
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Certification from a recognized national certifying body (e.g., NCC, ANCC)
- Demonstrated clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology settings
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred)
