Decypher is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care to join our mission-driven healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care in this full-time role, you will have the unique opportunity to make a measurable impact on health outcomes. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of clinical duties, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic health conditions, conducting exams, and promoting preventive health measures for patients across all age groups. Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care - Summary
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, including family and pediatric care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a full-time clinic setting
- Support the mission to enhance healthcare for service members, veterans, and their families
- Foster patient education and preventative health practices
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of nurse practitioner services in line with granted privileges, including general screening, medical care, and examinations for routine, acute, and chronic conditions affecting all organ systems
- Administer immunizations, diagnose and treat patients, and offer guidance and counseling
- Lead educational lectures for staff and participate in in-service training activities
- Diagnose and treat common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Promote preventive care and health maintenance, including conducting annual physicals and educating patients on healthy behaviors
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to coordinate care
- Identify conditions requiring isolation and ensure universal precautions are strictly followed
- Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, and ongoing education to maintain high standards of care and safety
- Support readiness assessments and Deployment Related Health Assessments (DRHA)
Salary & Benefits

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE recognized)
- Active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (prior to start date)
- Minimum of two years' clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the past three years, including recent pediatric care
- US citizenship or appropriate work authorization as required
- Experience with MHS Genesis is preferred within the past two years
