Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Primary Care – Summary
- Full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) opportunity in a primary care outpatient clinic serving the Venice, FL community.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Manage a panel of up to 650 patients, with an average daily patient load of 10-12.
- Deliver care to seniors with multiple chronic diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical assistants, schedulers, and referral specialists, to coordinate high-quality patient care.
- Utilize a value-based care model to achieve clinical and organizational goals.
- Perform office-based procedures such as suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to quality improvement measures, such as HEDIS compliance and reducing hospital sick days.
- Participate in a call schedule based on the number of providers in the market, ensuring work-life balance.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive clinic environment that supports patient engagement and wellness activities.
Salary & Benefits
- Total compensation potential over $143,000, including base salary and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
- At least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience required.
- Experience in geriatrics preferred, but not mandatory.
- Current DEA registration.
- Proficiency in office-based procedures: suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and wound care.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care.
