Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Primary Care Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Primary Care team in Tulsa, OK on a full-time basis. Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
- Manage a patient panel with an average of 10-12 patients per day and a maximum panel size of 650 patients.
- Utilize a value-based care model to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team, including a medical assistant, scheduler, referral specialist, and supportive leadership.
- Participate in a call schedule determined by the total number of providers in the market.
- Perform office-based procedures including suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices, focusing on patient safety and quality of care.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences and outcomes, supporting the company’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted, and active license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care outpatient setting.
- Experience in geriatrics is a plus but not required.
- Current DEA registration.
- Proficiency in office procedures, including suturing, joint injections, skin biopsies, and basic wound care.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
