As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will manage the care of patients across the continuum of outpatient services. The clinic is known for its inclusive, affirming environment, primarily serving LGBTQ individuals, including transgender patients, and individuals living with or at risk for HIV. The clinic also engages in ongoing HIV research, offering the chance to contribute to innovative studies and emerging treatments. Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – HIV Clinic Summary
- Provide outpatient care and disease management for patients living with or at risk for HIV, with a focus on primary care and prevention.
- Engage in ongoing HIV research studies and contribute to clinical trials and data collection.
- Work directly with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, seniors, and transgender individuals.
- Collaborate with an experienced healthcare team in a supportive, inclusive clinic environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-up care for individuals across the outpatient continuum.
- Participate in HIV research protocols, collecting and documenting clinical data as required.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding HIV prevention, treatment, and overall health management.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay current on advances in HIV care, LGBTQ health, and relevant clinical guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in primary care, urgent care, or outpatient clinic settings preferred.
- Experience or strong interest in HIV care, LGBTQ health, and/or clinical research is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
