Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) About the Role
Clayton Family Medicine, a respected primary care facility in Clayton, GA, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our core provider team. As an essential contributor to our practice, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will help us continue our mission of delivering high-quality, value-based, and personalized healthcare to our diverse patient population. This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic midlevel provider who is committed to making a positive impact in the field of family medicine.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, office-based clinical primary care services, including preventative screenings, sick visits, and physical examinations.
- Develop and document detailed care plans, maintain up-to-date problem lists, and verify patient vaccination records.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, x-rays, and other diagnostic studies as indicated for patient care.
- Educate patients using evidence-based guidelines, supporting shared decision-making and promoting patient engagement in their health.
- Ensure high-quality care and detailed documentation to support excellent quality scores within commercial and public payer Accountable Care Organization (ACO) programs.
- Work efficiently to minimize patient wait times and contribute to practice productivity goals.
- Maintain a positive and professional bedside manner that maximizes patient satisfaction and fosters trust.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Current licensure to practice family medicine as an NP or PA in the state of Georgia.
- Experience in a primary care or comparable care setting is preferred; however, recent graduates are welcome and will receive support and training.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective team collaboration and patient care.
- A team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude, with a commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of all patients.
