We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic outpatient primary care team in Sarasota, FL. As a key member of our healthcare practice, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-focused setting. In this Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) position, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, manage treatment plans, and contribute to a supportive environment that prioritizes patient well-being. The role is based in our modern primary care outpatient office, using advanced electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless patient care coordination. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with built-in administrative time and no on-call responsibilities. You will typically see 12-15 patients per day, allowing you to devote the necessary attention to each individual's health needs.

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health maintenance
- Document all patient encounters and treatments in the EMR (eClinicalWorks)
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive compensation package, up to $145,000 base salary, based on experience

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license
- Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Experience in primary care, outpatient, or family medicine preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
