Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens in accordance with current clinical guidelines
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, prevention, and wellness strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using eClinicalWorks EMR
- Provide follow-up care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the practice

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in adult or geriatric medicine preferred
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
