We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner – Internal Medicine (NP, Primary Care) to join our well-established internal medicine clinic. The successful candidate will hold Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner and preferably possess an active license in New Mexico. In this Nurse Practitioner – Internal Medicine (NP, Primary Care) position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic health conditions. With clinic hours scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, this role ensures a healthy work-life balance without the requirement for weekend shifts or on-call duties.
Our internal medicine practice utilizes Epic EMR, and familiarity with this system is highly beneficial, although not mandatory. As a Nurse Practitioner – Internal Medicine (NP, Primary Care), you will be expected to perform thorough patient histories, conduct medication management, complete new patient consults, and provide ongoing primary care for patients of varying ages and backgrounds. You will also be encouraged to participate in team meetings, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinic policies.
