Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist cardiovascular surgeons in the operating room during surgical procedures.
- Conduct patient rounding in the hospital to monitor progress and address post-operative needs.
- Provide patient care and evaluation in the post-operative clinic, ensuring optimal recovery and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in 1:3 call rotation, responding to patient emergencies and supporting surgical teams as needed.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations.
- Engage in continuous professional development and participate in CME activities to stay current with cardiovascular surgery best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license; specialization in cardiovascular surgery preferred.
