- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of California
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current DEA license (Schedule 2-5) and NP Furnishing Number
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- One or more years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an acute hospital setting preferred
- Prior cardiac or cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in outpatient cardiac surgery or related cardiac specialties
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
