Non-Invasive Cardiologist (Cardiology, Cardiac Imaging, Echo, MD/DO, BC/BE) - Summary
- Full-time, board-certified physician role in non-invasive cardiology.
- Specialized in adult echocardiography and cardiac diagnostics.
- Focus on outpatient, non-interventional cardiovascular care.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and manage chronic cardiovascular diseases.
- Order and interpret appropriate imaging and laboratory tests as indicated by clinical needs.
- Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
- Perform and interpret echocardiograms (EKG) for patients in multiple markets.
- Read echocardiograms for the Phoenix and Tucson areas.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, providing expert consultations and answering clinical queries.
- Participate in the ongoing development and quality assurance of the echocardiography program.
- Work primarily in two outpatient centers, with minimal travel between sites during the week.
- Utilize the support of a medical assistant to optimize patient care and workflow.
- Report directly to the Senior Medical Director.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, specializing in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Adult Echocardiography.
- Active, unrestricted medical license and current DEA registration.
- Proficient in PC and electronic medical record systems.
- At least two years of clinical experience preferred; strong candidates newly out of training will be considered.
