Non-CDL Delivery Driver - Summary
As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and precise delivery and pickup of linen carts, maintaining company equipment, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. The role demands a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to work independently within established guidelines. With a focus on compliance with both company and DOT requirements, you will contribute directly to the operational success and reputation of Core Linen Services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up linen products according to daily schedules.
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer facilities, tagging each cart as required.
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and reports accurately, including pre-trip vehicle inspection reports and daily documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, disinfecting after each soil pickup and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures, especially when handling soiled linen on the soil side.
- Weigh soil under the correct customer and deliver all soil to the designated soil room.
- Demonstrate a professional appearance by wearing the required uniform and maintaining personal cleanliness.
- Adhere to the company’s attendance, conduct, and equipment management policies at all times.
- Provide courteous and responsive customer service, and promptly report any issues related to customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an unblemished driving record, suitable for operating company vehicles without a CDL.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) background check.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
- Availability to work second shift hours (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM), including weekends and potential holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate paperwork completion and vehicle management.
