Non-CDL Delivery Driver - Summary
As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of executing delivery routes according to established schedules and safety procedures. This includes loading and unloading linen carts, completing essential documentation, and maintaining a clean vehicle and professional appearance. Your commitment to punctuality, accuracy, and adherence to company policies will contribute to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction of Core Linen Services. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently during evening and overnight shifts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer facilities, ensuring proper tagging and documentation.
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and reports daily, including Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Weigh and record soil under the correct customer account and deliver soil to the designated area.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each soil pickup to promote health and safety standards.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
- Consistently wear the required uniform and maintain a neat, professional appearance during all shifts.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures throughout the workday.
- Report mechanical issues to the chief engineer promptly and accurately.
- Adhere strictly to Core Linen Services attendance policy and all organizational policies as detailed in the employee handbook.
- Report any customer service issues, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the company’s operational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work second shift (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM), including weekends and possible holidays.
- Successful completion of DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to complete paperwork accurately.
- Commitment to following all company and DOT safety policies and procedures.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain a neat, uniformed appearance.
