NOC Technician - Summary
As a NOC Technician, you will be integral to the ongoing health and stability of enterprise technology systems. This position combines core service desk support responsibilities with advanced network and systems monitoring. You will be entrusted with helping to ensure business continuity by addressing system alerts, resolving incidents, and escalating complex technical issues as needed. Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise systems, networks, and business applications to maintain operational stability and optimal performance.
- Respond to system alerts, incidents, outages, and service interruptions swiftly and professionally.
- Perform routine operational tasks including system checks, connectivity verifications, patch management, and scheduled job monitoring.
- Deliver first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, software, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues using remote support tools.
- Monitor and support server, storage, backup, telecommunications, and network environments to ensure high availability.
- Accurately document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the organization’s ticketing system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to appropriate internal technical teams for advanced support.
- Assist in monitoring scheduled processing activities and critical business systems to ensure seamless operation.
- Provide professional, customer-focused support to end users while maintaining high service standards and clear communication.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), computer operations, or similar IT operations environment.
- At least 2 years of help desk or service desk support experience.
- Hands-on experience of at least 1 year working with networking equipment and infrastructure.
- 2 years of Windows Server administration experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in remote support tools and technologies, such as virtual desktop environments or remote access platforms.
- Solid familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and ticket management systems.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both hardware and software issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work onsite and support overnight operations as required.
